NJSBAIG and SchoolDude Help Members Comply with Unfunded State Mandate
In response to new legislation requiring schools to manage maintenance activities through an automated work order system, NJSBAIG has partnered with SchoolDude to offer its members an online solution at no cost. NJSBAIG members with Property coverage are eligible to receive a complimentary one-year subscription to SchoolDude’s MaintenanceDirect system. NJSBAIG Announces $5 Million in Safety Grants for 2010
At the March 26, 2010 board meeting, NJSBAIG trustees voted to award $5 million in safety grants to members in 2010, up from $3 million in 2009. Qualifying members must use safety grant funds to purchase or implement safety-related improvements in their schools. Applications will be available in May. Read More...
Safety Grant Applications for 2010
2010 Safety Grant Applications are now available. Please choose the appropriate subfund and download an application. Application must be submitted by the superintendent or school business administrator.
The CAIP subfund has elected to postpone the award of safety grant funds. Members of CAIP will have the opportunity to apply at a later date.

MISSION
The New Jersey School Boards Association Insurance Group (NJSBAIG) is the state’s first and largest school insurance pool. Founded in 1983, NJSBAIG is a non-profit, member owned joint insurance fund dedicated to public schools in New Jersey. Over the last 27 years, our membership has grown steadily from 38 members to more than 370 member districts representing every county in the state. In that time, NJSBAIG’s program, services and resources have evolved to meet the needs of our growing membership; however, one thing has remained unchanged: our mission.
