Immediate Openings: Loss Control Representative
Reports to: Loss Control Manager
Job Goal: Provide both a program of property and casualty inspections as required by the reinsurers participating in the NJSBAIG program and provide trainings and services to help meet the objective of providing risk management at competitive costs to the NJSBAIG membership.
Responsiblities:
- Perform physical site inspections of insured property in the NJSBAIG program and document the findings.
- Identify potential property and casualty loss situations and make recommendations for remediation to the Loss Control Manager and to the insured group.
- Participate in safety and loss control seminar presentations as required.
- Review proposed fire detection/alarm system installations and renovations at insured locations.
- Provide seminars and training to members' employees in the area of fire safety and maintenance.

- National Electric Code
- BOCA Code and Building Code
- NFPA (National Fire Protection Association Standards)
- NJAC (NJ Administrative Code, Chapter 6)
- Life Safety Code
- PEOSHA
- National Board Inspection Code (Boilers)
- Black Seal License Course Materials
Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience/training in fire safety and casualty risk identification.
